General Description
Body long, slender; snout long, narrow, tapering to a point; tail base long; dorsal and anal fins short-based, far back on body, widely separated from tail fin; pelvic fins united into a small ventral sucking disc on the underside, hind margin of sucking disc smooth. Pale green to dark green, often with several scattered brown spots and a pale line from the side of snout, through the eye to upper corner of gill cover. To 2 cm.
Habitat
Shallow, protected reef and weed areas, in depths of 1-10 m.
