General Description
Body shape slug-like with gill structures visible as a single cluster on back of the animal. Pattern includes shades or colours of purple and/or red. Animal up to 7 cm long.
Biology
This nudibranch is usually bright pink, the colour of the sponge it feeds on, Darwinella rosea.
Habitat
Subtidal and occasionally intertidal, to depth of 45 m.
