General Description
Body long, slender; body ridges elevated, spiny. Greyish to brownish or yellowish with a pale stripe from tip of snout to tail base; head with a brown stripe on the side; body often two thin brownish-red lines along the side. To 8 cm.
Biology
This nocturnal species lives in crevices, caves and beneath ledges during the day, often in small groups.
Habitat
On rocky reefs in caves, crevices and under ledges, in depths of 0-25 m.
