General Description
Body extremely long, slender; body ridges smooth; head small; pectoral fins absent. Reddish with tiny red or yellow spots. To 16 cm.
Biology
This pipefish moves in an eel-like manner. It is rarely seen, and most specimens have been taken in dredges.
Habitat
Lives amongst filamentous red algae, in depths of 0-20 m.
