General Description

A pale yellow sponge species with globular form. Size of about 10 cm.

Biology

Species in this genus group occur throughout the world, but most species are found in cooler temperate waters like those off Australia's southern coast.

Habitat

Reef and jetty areas, at depths of 3-10 m.
