General Description
Body robust, oblong, mostly covered by small spines; chin not prominent; nostril tube divided nearly to base. Body dark blue with a brownish tinge and many small white spots, underside white, fins dusky. To 43 cm.
Habitat
Usually in deeper offshore waters, in depths of 40-360 m.
